Andrew

My real name is Andrew, and I’m a pandemic-born lawn freak. I started my social media channels back in 2021 as a joke because my family and co-workers were tired of me talking about my lawn and showing them pictures. That’s when “The Dad Bod Lawn” was born.

The goal of my channel is to use lawn care to make you laugh, teach you about grass, and connect on a personal, relatable level not only through lawn care, but also through being a dad. I’m a father of two, one boy and one girl, and they are my main focus in this world.

Being a parent is extremely hard, and I’m tested every single day, but it’s the most rewarding role I play. Please excuse the dad jokes and dad-isms that’s just who I am now, and my New Balance shoes are amazingly comfortable.

I have the most amazing and supportive wife in the world, and I wouldn’t be able to spend the time I do creating content and managing my lawn without her. She’s the real MVP.

Thank you all for your support and for choosing to follow me on my lawn care journey. I truly don’t understand why so many people follow and subscribe to my channels devoted to grass, but I’m grateful for every single one of you.

2 Tips For a Successful Lawn Season | Do THIS for a Better Lawn

Before applying any products to your lawn like fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, etc, measuring your lawn size is a good idea so that you can apply products at the proper rates. Also, if you are looking to dial in your fertilizer program, then performing a soil test is important to gather information about your lawn's (soil's) nutrients.

Rodeo Kentucky Bluegrass Blend

RODEO Kentucky bluegrass is a three-way blend of Kentucky bluegrass cultivars selected specifically for their drought and heat tolerance. This Kentucky bluegrass blend is designed for the transition zone of the United States, thriving in a variety of climates with moderate to low water requirements.
