The GG's Story
Chris (Ope | It’s Mow Time), Andrew (The Dad Bod Lawn), and Vince (Rooted Lawn Co) each built their own audiences by doing the same thing. Making lawn care more relatable, more entertaining, and actually doable for the everyday homeowner. Different styles with the same goal. Help people take pride in their yard.
This entire time, each of them were DM'ing each other and not knowing it. Shortly after the realization, a group text was started. They noticed something was missing...A hub for DIY'ers to find real lawn advice by real people they could relate to.
That led to the start of The Lawn Feed, a podcast built around dads getting together over some drinks, having real conversations in the lawn care space. No gatekeeping and no overcomplication. Just honest takes, shared experiences (both in the lawn and in parenthood), and practical advice homeowners could actually use. The podcast quickly became a place where education met personality, and where the three distinct perspectives played off each other in a way that worked.
But the bigger opportunity was always beyond audio.
The Grass Guys was built as the next evolution. A brand first approach designed to bring everything together under one roof. Content, education, entertainment, and real world projects, all focused on helping homeowners build their dream yard in a way that feels approachable...and most importantly fun.
Today, The Grass Guys is more than just three creators. It is a platform hub built to inspire, educate, and entertain. Turning everyday lawn care into something people actually want to be a part of.

2020
Chris, Andrew, and Vince each begin creating lawn care content independently, building audiences by making lawn care more relatable, entertaining, and practical for everyday homeowners.
Early 2021
Their paths begin to cross through the lawn care industry, collaborations, and shared brand work, quickly realizing they share the same vision and audience.
Late 2021
The idea for something bigger takes shape as they recognize the opportunity to combine their different styles and perspectives into one unified platform.
March 2022
The Lawn Feed podcast is launched, creating a space for real conversations around lawn care. The show blends education, personality, and honest takes, quickly building a loyal audience of homeowners.
2023
The podcast grows, strengthening the dynamic between the three and proving there is demand for a more entertaining and approachable take on lawn and garden content.

The decision is made to evolve beyond audio and build a brand that brings everything together across content, platforms, and projects.
